COVID-19 has caused a bit of trouble for birthing families everywhere. In most hospitals birthing families are limited to only their spouse or one designated person to go into the hospital with them. This has caused birth photographers and videographers to be left on the outside of documenting births and this is how we are handling it at Snap Life Photography.

I know birth is a life changing event filled with incredible moments to never forget. It is not ideal to have your only support person using their extra hands to document the process, but the virus has left limited options for families to capture these moments. I want to help you get the best outcome for the process.

This is an extremely limited service as I only have one of gear to lend out. These services also require more editing than usual since I am not present for the story and have to review the footage more extensivly, as well as more extensive editing since cameras are only so good at guessing what is happening in the shot. This option is only avalible until birth documenters are allowed back into the hosptial (additional visitor other than partner).

Safety measures taken during closer contact with the photographer: Photographer will be wearing a mask when more physcially present with you, as well as maintaing 6ft distance from you and your family. The photographer will not touch you or things in your home (you will be asked to open doors etc. so that I only have to touch my camera and gear limiting any exposure to you). The photographer is also only leaving her home for grocery shopping and essentail errands while maintaing social distancing practices during this. All gear is sanitized before given to each new family.
